Gold prices in the domestic market of Pakistan held steady on Thursday, with 24-karat gold trading at Rs239,200 per tola. Data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association indicated that the price of 10 grams of gold also remained unchanged at Rs25,075.

Similarly, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,770 per tola and Rs2,378 per 10 grams in Pakistan.

This followed a decline in gold prices the previous day, continuing a downward trend seen in the international market. On Wednesday, gold lost value for the second consecutive day, with the per tola price dropping by Rs800 to close at Rs239,200. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs686 to settle at Rs205,075 in Pakistan.
