The Punjab government has reported it will give one free meal day by day to children of 100 elementary schools over the region. 

Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas reported on Twitter, sharing pictures in which he can be seen imparting a meal to kids at an elementary school. 

“Another new activity by the Punjab School Education Department. One free meal for our Primary School Children. We are beginning this in 100 Schools InshAllah. I express gratitude toward Allah Wallay Trust for giving the food. This would be incredible for our youngsters,” he tweeted.
