Players who have not been offered a domestic contract will be available to choose their association and will receive their share of match fees, daily allowances and prize money this year as they did last year.

Rameez Raja, Chairman PCB:

Chairman PCB Rameez Raja said that it is very important that we pay good salaries to our domestic players so that they focus on improving their skills and fitness instead of worrying about their careers and families.

He said that Pakistan Cricket Board has a duty to take care of the cricketers of the country and he was very happy to announce this decision.

Rameez Raja says a significant increase in players’ salaries will strengthen our domestic system. It will also dispel doubts about the well-being of our cricketers.

The PCB has offered contracts to 191 players for the domestic season 22-2021, including 20 cricketers from the CCA Two-Day Tournament. Eleven of these 20 cricketers are from remote areas of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as the PCB is not only committed to testing the talent of these areas but is also working to integrate them into the national framework.
