The newly-formed Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) government appears to change its course just a few days following its creation.
At first, it reversed course on the announcement of a 10 percentage increase in the salary of government employees . Now it’s looking to return to a week-long official five days.
Tweeting on twitter, Miftah Ismail, who will become the next Finance Minister has written that the working hours of the government are already cut in Ramadan and that there will be numerous Eid-ul-Fitr holiday celebrations.
This is the reason why the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared Saturday to be an official day. He will however ask the premier to reconsider his decision after the Eid holidays have ended said Miftah.

After assuming the office of the Prime Minister, PMLN Presidency, Shehbaz Sharif, announced the conversion of Saturday to an official working day. He also extended the hours of work for his official position.
Disappointed by the cancellation of 10% hike in wages federal government employees have been unable to accept the six-day working week. They protested in a huge way in the Q-Block at the Federal Secretariat against the decision earlier this week . They have threatened to stop working in offices in the near future.
