The Federal Minister of IT & Telecom, Syed Amin-Ul-Haque has stated that it is essential to enhance the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) in terms of both human and financial resources to help achieve the prime minister’s goal of increasing IT exports.
He made this statement while in the chair of the 52nd session of the Board of Directors of the PSEB at the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) office in the morning.
Minister Haque declared that PSEB has developed an complete IT Export Strategical Framework and is implementing programs and schemes that align with the framework through a number of programs and projects in infrastructure development as well as human capital development, capacity development for companies and global marketing research, strategy, in addition to the development of technology and innovation.

He said it was the time for the time to build up the organization in order to aid to support the Pakistani IT industry to compete internationally.
The PSEB’s Managing Director Osman Nasir, informed the board on the performance of the institution, its issues with finances, the future of programs and initiatives to promote the IT sector.
Participants at the meeting decided that the committee should present its recommendations and suggestions to the Prime Minister.
It was also attended by the Additional Secretary (Incharge) MOITT, Mohsin Chandna Mushtaq; Additional Secretary Finance and Chairman P@SHA the chief executive Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
