The Pakistan government has officially announced the holiday schedule for Eid ul Fitr. The Cabinet Division issued a notification declaring a three-day and four-day holiday period to accommodate offices with varying working schedules. According to the notification, offices following a five-day work week will observe holidays from Wednesday, April 10, to Friday, April 12. For those with a six-day work week, the holidays will extend from Wednesday, April 10, to Saturday, April 13.

Eid ul Fitr is a significant religious festival celebrated by Muslims globally, marking the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting. The festival commences with the sighting of the new moon, determining the exact date of the celebration. It falls on the first day of Shawwal, the tenth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, following Ramadan.

Eid ul Fitr holds great importance in the Islamic lunar calendar, symbolizing the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan, characterized by fasting and spiritual reflection. The festivities mark the end of this period of devotion and self-discipline.
