Punjab Announces Free Housing and Increased Support for Workers

Good news for workers in Punjab! Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced a major initiative to improve their lives. Here’s a breakdown:

  • Free Housing: 1,224 free flats will be built for workers in Taxila and Sunder labor colonies.
  • Financial Aid: Overdue death and marriage grants totaling 6 billion rupees will be distributed to over 29,000 workers.
