BOP Solar Panels Scheme and Registration Process
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the BOP Solar Panels Scheme, offering free solar panels to households consuming up to 200 units of electricity. For those using between 200 to 500 units, interest-free loans are available, with the government covering 75 percent of the loan amount.
Solar Scheme Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a Pakistani citizen.
- Must possess a valid CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card).
- Must own the property or have authorization from the property owner for installing solar panels.
