During an informal discussion with journalists at Adiala Jail on Thursday, Imran Khan stated his firm stance against the current regime, saying, “I’d rather die in prison than accept tyranny.” He expressed defiance against those questioning his audacity to challenge the powerful, stressing that he would not bow to oppression.
Imran Khan warned that the country was on the brink of a revolution, citing the silent revolution of February 8 as a wake-up call for decision-makers. He condemned the irrational decisions being made and voiced deep concern over his wife, Bushra Bibi, being imprisoned for seven months, considering it a tactic to teach him a lesson.

On the Balochistan issue, he criticized the appointment of puppets, arguing that it only aggravated the situation. He endorsed local body elections in the province and condemned the mismanagement of funds, which failed to address poverty. He drew a comparison between Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, asserting that if PTI were not active in the latter, it would face similar challenges.
Regarding terrorism, Khan questioned the origins of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and the claim that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) emerged from PTI policies. He advocated for a comprehensive counterterrorism strategy involving intelligence, dialogue, and operations.
On the subject of cricket, Khan expressed disappointment over Pakistan’s recent defeat by Bangladesh and criticized the lack of coverage of Mohsin Naqvi’s role following the loss.
