A Fly Jinnah aircraft encountered a fire incident during its landing at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport on Monday. Fortunately, all passengers were safely evacuated with no reported injuries.

The flight, numbered 9P846, was traveling from the port city to the provincial capital when it faced issues upon landing. Smoke and flames were detected in the cargo section of the aircraft. Emergency services responded quickly, ensuring the safe evacuation of all passengers and crew. The airport authorities immediately closed the runway to assist firefighting operations and secure the area. Several passengers recorded videos of the plane and the evacuation process.
While the Fly Jinnah spokesperson has yet to provide details, authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire. Passengers were given support and assistance while awaiting further updates on the incident.
