In the face of escalating tensions, Iran has issued a stark warning to Israel, threatening “crushing attacks” if Prime Minister Netanyahu retaliates for a recent missile strike on Tel Aviv.

International media reports indicate that Iran employed medium-range ballistic missiles in its assault on Tel Aviv, with some sources citing the use of Fatah hypersonic missiles. Tehran characterized these strikes as a justified response to the killings of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh.

Israel’s government and military have vowed to respond decisively. Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, a spokesman for the Israeli armed forces, stated that they are prepared to act at a time and place of their choosing. He noted that, despite intercepting many missiles, some still managed to hit their targets.

The United States and other allied nations have warned Iran that such military actions could lead to serious consequences. This incident marks Iran’s second military operation against Israel since an earlier missile and drone attack in April, which followed an Israeli airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.

Iran has claimed that the recent deaths of Nasrallah and General Abbas Nilforoushan, a senior commander in the Quds Force, would not go unanswered, attributing their deaths to an Israeli strike in Beirut last Friday.
