Imran Khan’s sisters, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, were apprehended by police at D-Chowk amid protests organized by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Reports indicate that the sisters were taken into custody and subsequently transferred to the Secretariat police station. This development follows PTI’s announcement of a protest at D-Chowk in Islamabad, prompting many party workers to converge at the location, including Imran Khan’s sisters.

In addition to the arrests of Aleema and Uzma Khan, law enforcement detained numerous other PTI supporters who had gathered at D-Chowk. Police deployed tear gas to disperse crowds arriving in groups and engaged in heavy shelling along Faizabad and Murree Road to hinder further advancements. Both male and female protesters were arrested, and the situation remains dynamic with more detentions occurring.
