Pakistan on Monday expressed strong condemnation over the offensive and blasphemous remarks made by Hindu priest Yati Narsinghan regarding the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). During a press briefing in Islamabad, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that these comments have deeply wounded the sentiments of the people of Pakistan and Muslims globally.

The spokesperson called on Indian authorities to take action against the priest and urged immediate steps to address the rising wave of religious intolerance and hate speech aimed at Muslims in India.
