The UAE Consul General in Karachi, Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Rumaithi, has addressed concerns regarding reports of visa denials for Pakistani nationals, firmly stating that the UAE continues to welcome Pakistani applicants. Speaking at the opening of Emirates World in Karachi, Dr. Al Rumaithi clarified that there are no restrictions on issuing visas to Pakistanis and emphasized the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with Pakistan.

Despite previous reports alleging that Pakistani visa applications were being rejected, the Consul General reassured the public that such claims were unfounded. Speculation had arisen, suggesting that the UAE may have revised its visa policy to prioritize highly skilled workers. However, Dr. Al Rumaithi’s comments aimed to put these concerns to rest, reaffirming the UAE’s openness towards Pakistan.
