Samsung has officially announced the rollout date for One UI 7, its Android 15-based operating system. The update will be available starting April 7 for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Initially introduced with the Galaxy S25 series in January, One UI 7 brings enhanced customization, a redesigned notification system called Now Bar, and new AI-powered features.

One UI 7 Release Timeline and Eligible Devices

Samsung confirmed in a newsroom post that the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be the first to receive One UI 7 on April 7. The update will gradually expand to more devices in the coming weeks, including:

  • Galaxy S24 FE
  • Galaxy S23 series
  • Galaxy S23 FE
  • Galaxy Z Fold 5
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5
  • Galaxy Tab S10 series
  • Galaxy Tab S9 series

Key Features of One UI 7

  • Now Bar: A rectangular, pill-shaped bar at the bottom of the screen, displaying real-time information and insights on the lock screen.
  • Galaxy AI Upgrades:
    • AI Select: Allows users to select specific screen areas for quick actions.
    • Writing Assist & Drawing Assist: Enables text summarization, formatting, and AI-generated images from sketches or text prompts.
  • Audio Eraser: Isolates and removes unwanted noise from videos.
  • Deeper Gemini Integration: Google’s AI chatbot now offers quick responses and natural language search in Settings.

Samsung has yet to announce the exact release date for other eligible devices, but the rollout is expected to continue in the coming months.
