In the first phase, around 7,000 students from selected institutions will receive their laptops during a special distribution ceremony on April 30, 2025.
To maintain transparency and fairness, the Higher Education Department has partnered with NADRA to conduct biometric verifications. NADRA began offering these services at designated institutions starting April 24, 2025.
All verification costs will be covered by the Higher Education Department, and NADRA will submit proper documentation for reimbursement. Educational institutions have been instructed to coordinate with NADRA and ensure that students complete the biometric process on time to qualify for the laptop handout.
