YouTube is introducing two new exciting features aimed at enhancing both creator and viewer experiences. The app has rolled out an expanded auto-dubbing feature and new live-stream gifting tools to meet the growing demands of its users.
Let’s begin with the auto-dubbing feature. This tool enables creators to translate their videos into multiple languages, automatically adding voiceovers in those languages, making content more accessible to a global audience. Initially launched for a limited group of users in 2023, this feature is now available to all creators who are part of the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). YPP members can access the tool by signing up through YouTube Studio.
The auto-dubbing feature is a major milestone for creators looking to expand their international reach. Language barriers have often hindered the global sharing of content, but with this new feature, creators can connect with viewers who speak different languages. Viewers can now enjoy content without relying on subtitles, which YouTube says will help increase views, grow subscriber bases, and foster stronger online communities. The company also plans to improve the tool further in the future to make it even more beneficial.

Along with auto-dubbing, YouTube is also enhancing live-stream gifting with a new feature called Combo Gifting. This tool allows viewers to send multiple gifts during a live stream all at once. Previously, users could only send single gifts by purchasing “jewels.” Now, with Combo Gifting, viewers can start a “combo” by sending one gift, and the combo continues if additional gifts are sent. When someone sends a gift, a special button appears on the screen for a few seconds, and if more gifts are sent quickly, the button stays visible for longer. This feature also pins the gift to the stream, making it more noticeable to the creator.
Combo Gifting allows everyone watching the stream to see the gifts and adds a fun, interactive element to live streams. It also gives viewers the opportunity to stand out and get noticed by the streamer. YouTube developed this feature in response to user feedback, as fans wanted a more exciting way to send multiple gifts at once and make them more visible during streams.
These updates show YouTube’s commitment to improving its platform and supporting its community. Whether it’s breaking down language barriers or enhancing live-stream interactions, these new tools provide creators with more ways to connect with their audiences and grow their channels.
