In a strong condemnation of India’s recent cross-border actions, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, revealed that a series of unprovoked airstrikes carried out by Indian forces targeted civilian locations across Pakistan, claiming the lives of 8 civilians martyred and injuring 33 others.
During an early morning media briefing on Wednesday, Lt Gen Chaudhry described the attacks as “cowardly and unjustified,” emphasizing that Indian forces launched 24 separate strikes on six different locations within Pakistani territory overnight.

Pakistan’s Response Underway
He assured the public that the Pakistan Army has already launched a firm and proportionate military response. “Pakistan reserves the right to defend its sovereignty and protect its people. Our response is active and ongoing,” he declared.
To provide global transparency, DG ISPR also announced that national and international media outlets would be escorted to the affected areas to witness firsthand the damage and civilian impact, thereby exposing what he termed “India’s naked aggression.”
As tensions rise, Pakistan has made it clear that it will not remain silent in the face of what it views as unjustified military aggression targeting non-combatants. With the media scheduled to document the aftermath, the international community is expected to closely monitor this developing situation.
