Quetta Gladiators have firmly established their dominance in PSL 10 with a commanding win over Islamabad United at Rawalpindi, reinforcing their position at the top of the table.

Islamabad, chasing a daunting target, crumbled under pressure and managed just 154 runs in 19.3 overs. Mohammad Amir led the charge for Quetta with an outstanding 3-wicket performance, shutting down any hopes of a comeback.

Latest PSL 10 Standings:

Position Team Matches (M) Wins (W) Losses (L) No Result (N/R) Points (PT) Net Run Rate (NRR)
1 Quetta Gladiators (Q) 9 6 2 1 13 1.530

5 Peshawar Zalmi 8 4 4 0 8 -0.082
6 Multan Sultans 9 1 8 0 2 -2.708

This emphatic win secures Quetta two chances to qualify for the PSL 10 final, with one group match still to play against struggling Multan Sultans. Their chances of finishing as the top team remain strong.

Islamabad United, however, face serious concerns. With four consecutive defeats, they’ve dropped to third place, overtaken by Karachi Kings. While their playoff spot is still intact thanks to five earlier wins, their current form suggests a short playoff run.
