In a significant security development, four Indian drones entered Pakistani airspace and were professionally intercepted and shot down by Pakistani security forces near Okara, including one near Chak No. 11/4L, adjacent to Okara Cantonment.

According to initial reports, the drones were detected in four different locations within the Okara district. Upon entering Pakistani territory, the drones were targeted and destroyed mid-air by the armed forces, showcasing their high-level preparedness and professionalism.

One of the drones fell near a residential area, causing panic among locals. The crash resulted in injuries to two civilians: 70-year-old Emmanuel, son of Yuhanna Masih, and 16-year-old Badal, son of Benjamin, both residents of Chak No. 10/4L. Rescue 1122 provided immediate medical assistance and shifted the injured to the nearby hospital.

Explosions were reportedly heard in the vicinity at the time of the drone crashes, raising concerns among the local population. However, the Pakistan Army confirmed that there was no loss of life or significant property damage due to the timely action of the armed forces.

Eyewitnesses at the scene chanted slogans in favor of the Pakistan Army, praising their swift and effective response. The military’s quick intervention ensured peace and security in the region, averting any serious consequences.

Authorities are investigating the origin and nature of the drones and have heightened surveillance in border areas to prevent future intrusions.
