Senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has directly addressed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanding clarity and accountability over recent developments involving U.S. mediation in the India-Pakistan ceasefire.
In a strong critique posted on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Rahul Gandhi said, “Modi ji, stop making hollow speeches and answer these three questions.” He accused Modi of surrendering Indian interests to Donald Trump and compromising the nation’s dignity.
Rahul Gandhi questioned why the Indian Prime Minister trusted Pakistan’s statement on terrorism, why he bowed before Trump sacrificing Indian national interest, and why his anger only surfaces in front of cameras. “You have traded India’s honor,” he said.

Rahul demanded that Modi call a special session of Parliament to explain the situation and clarify the U.S. President’s role in the ceasefire negotiations. The Congress party has also alleged that the Indian government uses foreign diplomatic missions as “Weapons of Mass Distraction” to divert public attention from domestic issues.
Rahul Gandhi’s remarks are being viewed as part of a growing political offensive by the opposition amid mounting questions over national security, transparency, and foreign influence in India’s defense decisions.
