Pakistan’s military leadership has declared that no power can intimidate the country through force or threats, asserting that elements trained and funded to destabilize the nation will be completely eradicated. The declaration came during the 270th Corps Commanders’ Conference, chaired by Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The forum congratulated Field Marshal Munir on his elevation, recognizing his strategic vision, steadfast leadership, and critical role in strengthening national defence. Reaffirming Pakistan’s firm commitment to protecting its sovereignty, the military leadership emphasized that the country would take all necessary steps to defend its core interests.

In-depth discussions focused on the threat posed by India-backed terrorist proxies operating in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The commanders condemned India’s alleged use of non-state actors and covert tactics in the region, especially in the aftermath of the Pahalgam incident, calling India a perpetrator of terrorism and a source of regional instability.

The military leadership vowed that Pakistan would never allow externally sponsored terrorism to disrupt its peace. In coordination with intelligence and law enforcement agencies, the armed forces will relentlessly pursue all hostile proxies and their facilitators.

“These hostile elements, trained and funded to spread chaos and fear, will be dismantled and destroyed with the full force of national will and institutional strength, Insha’Allah,” the commanders resolved.

The forum also conducted a thorough review of the internal and external security landscape, highlighting the successful conclusion of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos—described as a decisive phase of the broader Marka-e-Haq campaign.

Tributes were paid to the martyrs of both the operation and the recent terrorist attack in Khuzdar, Balochistan, which killed four children and two adults. The military condemned the act, attributing it to India-sponsored proxies and calling it a blatant violation of humanitarian norms.

The leadership paid homage to all martyrs of Marka-e-Haq and reaffirmed that their sacrifices would not be forgotten. The safety and security of Pakistan’s citizens, the forum stated, remain the top priority of the armed forces.

Participants praised the courage, professionalism, and resilience of Pakistan’s military, along with the unwavering support of the nation, in thwarting aggression with precision and determination.
