Pakistan’s top javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem captured the gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championships 2025, delivering an outstanding throw of 86.40 meters in the final.

Nadeem’s performance was dominant, placing him clearly ahead of his rivals and reinforcing his position as one of Asia’s finest javelin athletes. His nearest competitor, India’s Yadav, secured silver with a throw of 85.16 meters, while Japan’s Sakiyama won bronze with 83.75 meters. Muhammad Yasir, also representing Pakistan, competed in the final and finished eighth with a throw of 75.39 meters.

Nadeem previously made history in August last year by winning Olympic gold in Paris with a record-breaking throw of 92.97 meters. That achievement brought immense pride to Pakistan and established him among the world’s elite in the sport.

Looking forward, Arshad Nadeem is scheduled to head to England to prepare for the World Athletics Championships in September, aiming to continue his impressive streak on the international stage.
