Authorities in Faisalabad have apprehended the suspect behind the shocking murder of popular Pakistani TikToker Sana Yusuf. Following the tragic killing, the accused fled the scene but was quickly traced using Safe City cameras and advanced surveillance technology.
The suspect, identified as Kaka, a close friend of Sana, attempted to escape but was tracked down due to real-time monitoring and coordinated police efforts. Investigations are currently underway to determine the motive behind the crime that has deeply affected the social media community and the public at large.
Earlier, Islamabad Police registered a murder case after the fatal shooting of 17-year-old TikTok influencer Sana Yusuf in the G-13 sector of the federal capital. The case was filed at Sumbal police station based on a complaint from Sana’s mother, who expressed that while she did not initially know the attacker’s identity, she could recognize him if seen again. As a result, an FIR was registered against an unknown suspect under relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The incident took place on Tuesday evening around 5 PM when an unidentified gunman entered Sana’s home and fired twice at her chest before fleeing the scene. Sana was immediately taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) but tragically died shortly after arrival.
Initial findings suggest the attacker was familiar with the victim and may have entered the residence as a guest. Police are reviewing CCTV footage and forensic evidence as part of the ongoing investigation. Sana’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination to assist with the probe.
Authorities have commended the use of modern technology in swiftly capturing the suspect, signaling a strong commitment to delivering justice.
