The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has granted a Regular Public Transport (RPT) license to Air Karachi, marking the official entry of the new private airline into Pakistan’s commercial aviation sector.
Air Karachi secured the license after fulfilling all regulatory requirements and submitting a comprehensive business plan. The airline is now gearing up to launch its domestic flight operations in the near future, with future plans to expand to international destinations.
With an initial investment of Rs. 5 billion, the airline is supported by prominent business figures from Karachi and will be led by retired Air Vice Marshal Imran as its CEO. In its initial phase, Air Karachi will operate with a fleet of three leased aircraft.
