Pakistan is grappling with an intense heatwave, with seven of its cities ranked among the top 15 hottest locations on Earth, according to a global weather monitoring company.

Dera Ismail Khan leads the global chart as the hottest place in the world, recording a scorching 48.4°C. Jacobabad follows closely with 48.0°C, placing it second on the global list.

Other Pakistani cities making the list include Sibi and Bahawalnagar, both reaching 47.4°C, while Jhelum, Multan, and Sialkot recorded temperatures of 47.0°C and 46.0°C, respectively.
