The price of 24 karat gold in Pakistan rose sharply by Rs. 4,000 per tola on Thursday, reaching Rs. 356,900, up from Rs. 352,900 the previous day, according to data from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

This follows a Rs. 600 per tola increase recorded a day earlier, bringing the total two-day hike to Rs. 4,600 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold climbed by Rs. 3,430 to Rs. 305,984, compared to Rs. 302,554 the day before. For 22 karat gold, the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs. 3,144, reaching Rs. 280,495 from Rs. 277,351.

In contrast, silver rates remained unchanged. Per tola silver held steady at Rs. 3,745, while 10 grams of silver remained at Rs. 3,210.

On the international front, gold prices rose by $30, reaching $3,375 per ounce from $3,345. Silver prices remained constant at $35.87 per ounce.
