Gold Prices Drop for Third Straight Day in Pakistan
The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan fell by Rs. 2,245 per tola on Wednesday, settling at Rs. 359,055 compared to Rs. 361,300 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
This marks the third consecutive day of decline, with prices falling by Rs. 700 per tola on Monday and Rs. 1,000 on Tuesday. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs. 1,925, reaching Rs. 307,831 from the previous Rs. 309,756. For 22-karat gold, the price of 10 grams declined by Rs. 1,765 to Rs. 282,188 from Rs. 283,953.

Meanwhile, silver prices saw an increase. The rate for per tola silver rose by Rs. 22 to Rs. 3,878, while 10 grams increased by Rs. 19 to Rs. 3,324.
On the international front, gold prices dipped by $20 to $3,378 per ounce from $3,398, whereas silver prices edged up by $0.22 to $37.20 per ounce.
