In a significant move toward digitizing education services, the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has introduced a new online correction system that allows students to request updates to their personal records without visiting the board office.
Students can now submit correction requests for details such as their name, father’s name, and date of birth through an online portal. This initiative is aimed at enhancing transparency, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness for thousands of students.

Chairman Adnan Khan emphasized that the board is committed to becoming a model of transparency and digital transformation. He added that other services—such as record verification and issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs)—are now fully digitized. As a result, students no longer need to rely on middlemen, agents, or consultants. All services can be accessed from the comfort of their homes with just a few clicks.
This digital shift not only simplifies the process for students but also positions the Rawalpindi Board as a pioneer in educational reform, setting a strong precedent for other educational boards across the country to follow.
