Based on this prediction, the first day of Rabi-ul-Awwal is likely to fall on Monday, August 25, 2025, while 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal—which marks the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)—is expected on Friday, September 5, 2025.
Coincidentally, the following day, Saturday, September 6, is Defence Day, observed annually to honor the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces. Although it is not an official public holiday, the government may consider declaring one this year in celebration of Pakistan’s recent military success in the May 2025 conflict with India.
With Sunday, September 7 already being a regular weekly holiday, Pakistanis could enjoy a three-day weekend, blending religious observance, national pride, and a typical weekend break.
