According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, moist currents of moderate intensity from the Arabian Sea are entering the upper regions of the country. Additionally, a westerly wave is expected to approach the upper parts from the evening/night of 15th September, continuing through to 19th September.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
From 16th to 19th September, rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorms is expected in:
- Upper and Central Areas: Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Buner, Malakand
- Tribal and Southern Areas: Bajaur, Mohmand, Kohat, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Hangu, Karak, Waziristan
- Note: Occasional breaks in rainfall are likely.

Kashmir & Gilgit-Baltistan
- Kashmir (15th–19th September): Scattered rain, wind, and thundershowers in Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, and Mirpur.
- Heavy rainfall likely on 16th & 18th September.
- Gilgit-Baltistan (16th–19th September): Isolated rain, wind, and thunderstorms in Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, and Shigar.
Punjab & Islamabad
- 16th–19th September: Rain-wind/thundershowers in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum.
- 18th & 19th September: Rain also expected in Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Mianwali, Khushab, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, and Faisalabad.
- Isolated heavy rainfall possible during the period.
Sindh
- Mainly dry weather is expected across most parts of Sindh.
- Partly cloudy conditions may occur in coastal areas.
Balochistan
- Mainly dry weather is forecasted for the entire province.
