The government of Balochistan has announced an extension of the summer holidays for schools and other educational institutions across the province. According to the latest notification, classes will now resume on August 15. This decision follows directives from Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti.

Similarly, the Sindh government previously extended the summer break for all schools in the province until August 14 due to ongoing weather conditions. The Sindh Education Department has stated that the new academic year will commence on August 15.
Provincial Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah cited severe heat and forecasted monsoon rains as reasons for extending the summer break. He also mentioned that educational institutions will hold Independence Day celebrations on August 14.
