This week, Beelink announced the SER8 Pro Plus with AMD Ryzen 7 APU and Radeon 880M iGPU. The SER6 Pro Plus is a less powerful alternative to the SER Pro, but it is also packed with some valuable features of its own. It has a 35W APU and a Ryzen 7 refresh with the same CPU architecture and integrated graphics as the previous model.

In a few months, Beelink will release a new version of the SER6 Pro, which was released a few months earlier. There is still a limited number of the SER6 Pro available for purchase from MiniXPC, which can be found here. It is important to note that Beelink has yet to provide specific details regarding the purchase of the new mini PC. In spite of the fact that the SER6 Pro Plus has a less powerful outlook, the naming of the device may seem confusing at first. As a result, it would be expected that the Plus edition of the model would have a higher performance and more advanced components.

There is a 50Hz higher boost for the Ryzen 7 7735HS chip in the SER6 Pro Plus than the Ryzen 7 6800HS chip in the SER6 Pro. With a TDP of 35W, it is 10W lower than its predecessor, which means a significant reduction in power consumption. The Ryzen 7 APU has eight Zen3+ CPU cores, a 4.75GHz boost clock, and a 2.2Hz Radeon 680M. It was reported that the Ryzen 7 7735HS choice was due to overheating issues with the SER6 Pro’s Ryzen 7 6800HS.

A barebones version of the Beelink SER6 Pro Plus will retail for $499, about $100 less than the original price of the unit. In addition to the FAM of 32GB and the 500GB of storage that can be configured on the SER6 Pro Plus, it comes with a price tag of $649. Originally, the upgraded version of the software is going to cost you $689. Customers who are interested in pre-ordering the MiniXPC could do so via the MiniXPC website. In March 2023, the first deliveries will be made to the customers.
