In a decisive move against rising border tensions, Pakistan Rangers shot down a second Indian drone on Wednesday morning in the Shakargarh sector, according to security sources.

The drone was intercepted while attempting to breach Pakistani airspace, adding to a series of violations amid escalating hostilities between India and Pakistan. The incident follows Indian airstrikes on Pakistani territory and Pakistan-administered Kashmir, which prompted a firm military response from Islamabad.

Pakistan has also downed several Indian fighter jets in retaliation, further escalating the standoff. Security officials report that the Pakistani military remains on high alert and is committed to defending national sovereignty against any form of aggression.
