The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is poised for a significant surge in employment in 2025, driven by favorable government policies that have strengthened the tourism sector and broader economic activity, according to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) in its latest Economic Impact Report (EIR).
The report highlights that the UAE’s travel and tourism industry is expected to see a sharp increase in job creation, potentially generating thousands of new positions this year. The country is now recognized as one of the world’s safest destinations for both tourism and investment.
Projections indicate that the sector will support more than 925,000 jobs by the end of 2025, reflecting strong recovery and ambitious development strategies. International visitor spending is expected to reach AED 228.5 billion in 2025 — a 37% increase compared to the pre-pandemic peak in 2019.
