Iran Strikes Mossad Base in Tel Aviv Amid Escalating Missile Exchange with Israel

In a dramatic escalation of hostilities, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards claimed on Tuesday to have struck a Mossad intelligence center in Tel Aviv, as well as Israel’s military intelligence facility, Aman. The strike, part of a broader missile barrage, was confirmed in a statement aired on Iranian state television. The Guards said these operations targeted the “terrorist operations planning centre” and declared that the facilities were “currently on fire.”

Iran further announced that its missile attack also aimed at Israeli air bases allegedly used to launch airstrikes against Iranian targets. “A large-scale missile operation was carried out against the air bases of the Zionist regime’s army,” the statement said, suggesting retaliation for Israel’s recent surprise air campaign.

Israel responded by activating air raid sirens across Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and northern regions. The Israeli military confirmed intercepting “most” of the missiles launched from Iran. Shortly after the attacks, civilians in Tel Aviv were advised to leave shelters as the immediate threat was declared over.

Emergency services in Israel reported that four civilians were injured while seeking shelter. Despite Israel’s sophisticated air defense systems, some missiles and debris struck various locations, including Tel Aviv, Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva, and Haifa, causing material damage.

The death toll from the ongoing conflict continues to rise. Israel reported 24 fatalities and hundreds wounded as a result of recent Iranian strikes. Meanwhile, Tehran claims that Israeli air raids have killed at least 224 people, including military commanders and nuclear scientists.

The war continues amid international concern over a further escalation. Israel launched its latest air campaign last Friday, reportedly to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons—an allegation Tehran denies.

Adding to the tension, former U.S. President Donald Trump made a controversial statement on Truth Social, saying the U.S. would not target Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei “for now.” He warned that America’s patience was “wearing thin” and called for Iran’s “unconditional surrender.”
