Although Careem officially ended its ride-hailing services in Pakistan on July 18, 2025, the company is not exiting the country entirely. Instead, it is pivoting to launch a new multi-service platform known as the “Everything App.”

Under its spinout company, Careem Technologies, the brand is focused on developing and expanding its super-app from Pakistan, incorporating services such as food delivery, grocery shopping, digital payments, and more. This move signals Careem’s shift towards becoming a comprehensive digital platform tailored to modern consumer needs.

Currently, nearly 400 employees are working on the new app in roles spanning engineering, product development, and operations. The company also plans to hire over 100 new team members locally, supporting both app development and launch strategies across the region.

Careem is further investing in Pakistan through its Falcon / NextGen graduate program, which trains top university graduates in system scalability and product engineering to fuel the growth of the Everything App.

While detailed features have yet to be revealed, early indications suggest the new app will compete with major delivery platforms like Foodpanda, offering services in food, groceries, and payments.
