The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has announced an upward revision in the monthly per-child fee structure for its partner schools under the Foundation-Assisted Schools (FAS), Education Voucher Scheme (EVS), and New School Program (NSP). The revised fee schedule will come into effect from September 2025.
Reason for the Increase
According to PEF’s official circular, partner schools have been struggling with financial pressures caused by rising inflation, higher teacher salaries, and growing classroom expenses. To help these schools maintain academic standards, the foundation has approved a fee hike across all grade levels.

Ensuring Teacher Support
PEF has directed all partner schools not only to apply the revised fees but also to increase teacher honorariums in proportion to the new structure. The foundation stressed that the revision aims to ease financial difficulties while ensuring teachers and students benefit equally.
With this step, PEF expects schools to achieve greater financial sustainability, while continuing to provide free or subsidized education to thousands of low-income families across Punjab. The move is seen as a necessary measure to protect the quality of education in the face of ongoing economic challenges.
