Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a sharp decline on Wednesday, reflecting a downward trend in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 2,400, bringing it down to Rs. 388,600. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 2,058, standing at Rs. 333,161. This dip comes after a brief period of stability, as gold prices had remained unchanged at Rs. 388,100 on Tuesday, following a record high earlier this week.

On the global front, gold also saw losses, with prices recorded at $3,668 per ounce, down by $24, including a $20 premium.
Silver followed the same trend in Pakistan, as the price per tola dropped by Rs. 109, settling at Rs. 4,387.
