Earlier this year, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 12 series in China, but the device is not yet available in the global market. Despite the fact that the company hasn’t confirmed any details as of yet, a popular tipster is claiming that the lineup will be unveiled in India soon. Additionally, he shared some interesting details about the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus, which is a higher-end handset. Here are all the details that we need to know about this project.

Apparently, Redmi Note 12 series is coming to India soon according to tipster Mukul Sharma. As far as a specific timeframe or date is concerned, he did not provide any information. It was also confirmed by Sharma that the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will feature a 200MP front-facing camera as well as a 16MP rear-facing camera.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ that will be launched in India may differ in some way from its Chinese counterpart, which is possible. The reason for this is that the MIUI codebase recently announced that the Chinese Note 12 Pro+ will launch as Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge in the Indian market as an upgrade to the Chinese Note 12 Pro+. As a matter of fact, this truly makes sense since the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G in China is a rebranded version of Xiaomi’s 11i HyperCharge.

I would like to remind you that the Note 12 Pro+ first appeared in China with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a centered punch-hole and a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, as well as a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC along with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and a UFS 2.2 storage system. In addition to the 5,000mAh battery, it supports 120W fast charging and is backed up by a 5000mAh battery.

A 5G version of Redmi’s Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is also expected to be launched in the country, as well as a 4G version of Redmi’s Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G. This 4G handset is expected to come with a Full HD+ display, the Snapdragon 732G mobile platform, and 8GB of RAM, according to what has been revealed so far.
