A new generation of Redmi smartphones will soon be launched in China, including the Redmi K60 series of smartphones. The Redmi K60, K60 Pro, and K60E are just some of the models that are expected to be available in the coming months, according to recent reports. As of today, the Redmi K60E, the successor to the Redmi K60, has been officially confirmed by the company. The company also confirmed that the chip used in the phone will be called K60E.
The Redmi phone with the codename “Rembrandt” was leaked in November and it became clear that the phone would be launched in China under the moniker “Redmi K60E.” According to the latest news, the Xiaomi device with the model number 22127RK46C that was recently certified by the 3C authority of China will be marketed in its home country as the Redmi K60E.
There is a report stating that the Redmi K60E will come packed with the Dimensity 8200 chipset, which was officially announced today. According to a recent Geekbench listing for the device, it appears that the device may arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 mobile platform alongside the Snapdragon 855 processor. There is no doubt that the Redmi K60E will have a Dimensity 8200 chipset on board, as the official poster that was released today confirms that.
The Redmi K60E has been certified according to 3C standards and it is expected to arrive with 120W fast charging support as part of the package. As it has been speculated, the Redmi K60E is likely to be based on the Xiaomi 12T. It was previously reported that the Xiaomi 12T was going to debut as the Redmi K50S, but that didn’t happen. I am of the opinion that the Redmi K60E will be a redesigned version of the Xiaomi 12T / Redmi K50S.
Xiaomi has just released its 12T smartphone with an AMOLED display that measures 6.67 inches, has a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Also, the device has a fingerprint sensor.
