In addition to updating its smartphones, Samsung has now begun updating its tablets, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is among the first to receive Android 13.
It has recently been reported that some users in France who own the mid-range Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite have started receiving the new update that brings the company’s custom interface One UI 5.0, which is based on Android 13 and the latest version of the operating system.
In the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite LTE version (SM-P619), a new firmware version P619XXU1BVK6 is now available for the device. It is true that it is the 2022 model of the device that will receive the update, but the 2020 model of the device is also eligible for the update and it may be rolled out in the near future.
Regarding the Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite’s specifications, it comes equipped with a 10.4-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels, which is compatible with the S Pen stylus which is included. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC and accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the device is equipped under the hood with the Snapdragon 720G SoC.
On the camera front, there is an 8-megapixel snapper at the back of the phone and a 5-megapixel shooter on the front for taking selfies and video calls. It is equipped with a pair of AKG-tuned speakers that support Dolby Atmos audio technology. In terms of software, it runs the Android 12 operating system with a custom interface called One UI 4.0, and the device comes with a 7,040mAh battery that powers the device.
