The Red Magic company confirmed last month that their Red Magic 8 Pro series will be the first gaming phones equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Generation 2 processor. This phone has been accompanied by an ID photo that was announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in a press release.
According to the pictures, the device appears to have a straight-screen solution. Apparently, this display will have a resolution of 1116×2480, and it will have a 6.8-inch OLED screen able to support off-screen fingerprint technologies, as reported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Also, the photo shows that the machine adopts a transparent back cover design, which makes it possible to see the Snapdragon 8 second-generation flagship chip installed inside, as well as its cooling turbo fan and other components, so you can see what exactly is inside the machine.

According to previously leaked news, the new Red Magic 8 Pro smartphone will use a 6.8-inch OLED straight screen without openings, and it will be equipped with a 16-megapixel camera on the front and an 8-megapixel camera on the back. There is a possibility that it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 flagship chip, based on TSMC’s 4nm process, with a main frequency of 3.2GHz, the same as the Snapdragon 8 models of the past. Qualcomm claims that its CPU will have a performance increase of 35%, a reduction in power consumption of 40%, and a performance improvement of 25% as well as an improvement in energy efficiency of 45% if it uses its GPU. The machine will be equipped with a 50 mega pixel main camera as well as a three-camera module with eight megapixels and two megapixels.
At present, the specific release time of this phone has not been announced.
