There was a grand unveiling of the champion’s trophy of the PTCL Group’s largest E-Sports gaming tournament titled ‘GameKey Arena’ in Lahore on Tuesday evening, as 16 finalist squads from the PUBG MOBILE game prepare for the end of the gaming extravaganza at PTCL and Ufone 4G’s newly launched gaming platform ‘GameKey’.
There was a trophy unveiling ceremony held at Nishtar Park Sports Complex, where the last leg of the tournament is being played between the top 16 PUBG MOBILE squads from across the country that are competing on the ground. There will be a prize distribution ceremony held at the conclusion of the final contest which will be followed by an enthralling musical performance by the popular Pakistani singer Shamoon Ismail.

It was earlier announced that 10 maps of the final PUBG MOBILE competition would be played online, while the final five maps would be played face-to-face tonight. There will be a pool prize of PKR 3 million awarded by PTCL Group to the winning team and the runners-up team.
In the first event of its kind to take place on the newly launched gaming platform, GameKey, the GameKey Arena tournament brought in more than 700 aspiring and experienced PUBG MOBILE gamers from all over the country to compete for the title of ultimate national champion of the game. As a result of the qualifiers, 40 teams made it to the finals and 16 teams made it to the semifinals.
It should be noted that, just as was the case with the semifinals and the online legs of the finals, today’s decisive part of the tournament will also be live-streamed through Ufone 4G’s official YouTube channel, so that gamers can catch all the action live. With the goal of exploring and nurturing gaming talent in the country, PTCL Group is committed to providing opportunities to young and talented gamers that will allow them to grow personally and professionally.
