So if you didn’t know, The OnePlus 5T was released in 2017. It is the first OnePlus device with an 18:9 display. The taller display led to the fingerprint scanner moving to the back of the phone. This is also the second major OS update for the said phone which was originally launched with Android Nougat out of the box. Moreover the OnePlus 5T is likely toget the Android Q update mainly because of the company’s update policy which requires the company to come with an update of software after two years of when the phone was launched. As of right now we will have to wait for OnePlus to officially confirm it will get updated To be absolutely sure but the phone is also set to get 3 years of security updates so things seem to be going in the right direction for all the OnePlus 5 holders out there.
