While many leading Chinese smartphone brands are gearing up to unveil their new flagship phones this year, Oppo is taking a different approach. The brand is set to announce the Reno 11 series on Nov. 23, but the Find X7 lineup is not expected to make its debut until next year. A recent leak has shed light on the anticipated release dates for the Find X7 and X7 Pro in the Chinese market.

According to the leaker, flagship phones like the Nubia Z60 Ultra, Honor Magic 6 Pro, and Find X7 Pro will be revealed before the Chinese Spring Festival in 2024, scheduled between Feb. 10 and Feb. 17. Another Weibo post from the same source suggests that the Z60 Ultra will be announced in December this year, implying that the Honor Magic 6 Pro and Find X7 Pro could be unveiled by the end of January or early February. This timeline indicates an earlier debut for the X7 series compared to the Find X6 series, which was announced in March of the current year.

The Find X7 and X7 Pro are expected to be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. Oppo has confirmed that the X7 series will support satellite communication connectivity, although this feature may be exclusive to the Pro model. Both the Find X7 series and the OnePlus 12 and Reno 11 series will boast the HyperTone camera system.

The Find X7 Pro is anticipated to feature the upcoming one-inch LYT-900 primary camera, reportedly a modified version of the IMX989. As per a previous report, the Pro model will boast a 2K 120Hz display, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a triple camera unit comprising 50-megapixel (LYT-900) + 50-megapixel (LYT-700, ultrawide) + 50-megapixel (LYT-700, telephoto) lenses. Other features include ColorOS 14-based Android 14 and an enhanced rear design.

In related developments, the upcoming Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro are expected to feature the Dimensity 8200 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets, respectively. Both phones will come with a 120Hz curve-edge display and a telephoto camera featuring 2x optical zoom. It remains uncertain whether the Reno 11 series and the Find X7 series will be announced globally, as the Find X6 lineup remained exclusive to the Chinese market.
