All Pakistan Business Forum appoints Mr. Maaz Mahmood as General Secretary

The ‘All Pakistan Business Forum’ (APBF) has appointed Mr. Maaz Mahmood as its new General Secretary. Since the previous General Secretary of the APBF – Ms. Ayesha Hamid had successfully completed her tenure, the Board recently held a meeting, headed by the Chairman APBF – Mr. Khalid Rafiq, along with the President of APBF – Mr. Ibrahim Qureshi and other CEC members, to appoint the new General Secretary.

Syed Maaz Mahmood has extensive experience as a Director of Supreme Powder Coatings Pvt. Ltd. He is a highly-qualified and successful entrepreneur with a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA degree from the University of Punjab. He will apply his vast experience of working with the domestic industries and Multinational corporate sector, to enrich the endeavors and initiatives of the APBF. His expertise is focused on the energy sector, Oil & gas infrastructure, and appliances manufacturing, etc.

The President of APBF – Mr. Ibrahim Qureshi congratulated and welcomed Maaz Mahmood as the new General Secretary and stated that; “Mr. Maaz is a seasoned entrepreneur and the board-members have expressed their complete confidence in his organizational skills and his ability to ensure robust growth for the association. We wish him best of luck for his new responsibilities.”

The new General Secretary – Maaz Mahmood expressed his thanks to the APBF for their trust and said that; “I am committed to strengthening the performance of APBF, and hope that the members will extend their kind support and continue working together to achieve our common goals and play a vital role in accelerating social development, economic prosperity and financial inclusion, through fresh collaborations with resourceful enterprises.”

It promotes and protects the interests of the business community and industry, besides playing an advisory role for the Government sector, regarding policy formulation, regulatory realignments and implementation in the commercial and industrial sectors.
