Apple support has proceeded on to claim that the company is working on a fix for the iPhone 12 wireless charging problem that has been experienced by a large number of owners – that when using Qi-certified chargers.

Many users have reported that there has been an issue of the sorts with respect to their particular devices. There have been claimed that when their devices arrived, they worked quite well on all Choetech chargers. Then one user reported that he had put the charger on the stand for an overnight charge, but when he woke up, much to his surprise, the phone hadn’t charged at all.

The same user claimed that he had tried to charge the latest flagship from Apple on different wireless chargers – but to no avail. And the same was the case when the user tried to wirelessly charge the phone without the case – as it seemed to have made no difference.

Otherwise, users have said that while restarting their device does solve the problem for a little while – it always seems to make a return within a day or two. Experts claimed that many users thought that an iOS beta update cured the problem – but this wasn’t exactly the case, as while the problem took a little longer to reappear, it did do so

While Apple hasn’t exactly been too vocal on the issue and hasn’t responded when people have asked the company to, it is the case where the company is indeed in knowledge of the issue and is working on to resolve it.

This is a worrying case though because of the sheer number of people who have been on the receiving end of the problem. Indeed on Apple forums, it is said that 700 people have the very same issue. And these numbers are just fed in from the forums – with there likely being even more cases. Nonetheless, Apple is aware and is likely to soon come up with a solution to solve the problem.
