Taiwan’s Economic Daily News reported that Apple iPhone 14 Plus sales were terrible in November, resulting in a 12.9% drop in revenue from October and a 28.3% drop from year-ago levels for foundry PEGATRON.

Apple iPhone 14 Plus sales are weak and Pegatron’s November revenue is down 28.3%

It is reported that Pegatron’s November revenue was NT$113.474 billion (about RMB 25.872 billion), a decline of 28.3% over the same month last year; consolidated revenue for the first 11 months of the year reached NT$120.5609 billion (about RMB 274.879 billion), an increase of 8.8% over the same period last year.

In terms of shipments, Pegatron shipped 600,000 notebook PCs in November, a 20% increase over the previous month; 300,000 to 350,000 desktops and motherboards were shipped, an unchanged number from the previous month; consumer products also entered their traditional low season during November.

As per the market expectations, Pegatron’s lower revenue was primarily impacted by the dismal sales of the iPhone 14 Plus, which contributed to the company’s lower revenue in November. A majority of Pegatron’s revenue came from the iPhone 14 Plus as well as some iPhone 14, but the old iPhone 13 contributed more to the company’s bottom line.

Nevertheless, it is expected that Pegatron’s revenue will be lower in December due to the traditional slow season in Europe and the US in December.
