Apple iPhone 9 expected to debut in March

So as revealed to us by a recent report from a pretty well known source  known as Bloomberg, the major US smartphone manufacturers Apple have announced that they will be starting the production a low-cost iPhone SE next generation device by the start of next month which is February and are planning to unveil that device the following month in March. This particular smartphone in discussion is expected to be named as the ‘iPhone 9’ and the device is likely to feature some features which you may have found on the previous iPhone 8. Other news has revealed that the company are exploring the possibility of releasing a relatively mid ranged device in the market to provide some competition in that segment as well and they plan to do this by keeping the manufacturing cost of the device to a low hence the device is unlikely to  feature any high-end features such as an OLED screen, Face ID, wireless charging and 5G networking, other than that, Apple have also confirmed that the phone will be powered by A13 Bionic processor like the one you may find in the latest line of phones.

The new and coming device will pack a 4.7-inch LCD and will also include Touch ID. Coming on to the design of the said device, it is expected that the device will look a lot like the iPhone 8 but will in turn will have better hardware and software quality, more RAM and a better camera. Moreover, the device shall be made available in 3 colors: Space Gray, Silver, and Product Red as per the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. As far as the price is concerned, the original SE was priced at $399 and the iPhone SE successor is expected be launched somewhere around that 300-500 mark.

In addition to things it has also been found that the US manufacturers are rumored to launch four iPhone models in 2020 (excluding the iPhone SE range of models). As per a recent report, all of these devices are likely to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem and after the success of the iPhone 11 in 2019, the iPhone 12 shipments will most probably contribute significantly to the overall revenue of the smartphone market. Gartner, a global research and advisory firm, expects handset sales to increase by 1.7% this year, which is good news since the market saw a 2% decline last year.
